RDC Ticketing FAQs


Q: How do I buy tickets online?

A: On the RDP Ticket website (rdptickets.universitytickets.com) click the Log In/Register button to create your profile. Follow the prompts provided online. Once you have a profile, you are able to complete your transaction.

Q: How do I buy ticket in person?

A: The Box office opens 1 hour before the start of an event. Any RDP box office location can sell a ticket for any event. Choose from the Upcoming Events schedule to determine which box office time and location work for you if you want to pre-buy for your event. There are no general hours for RDP box office locations.

Q: Can I buy tickets over the phone?

A: No. Online or in-person at a box office are the only options.

Q: Why won’t the system process my purchase?

A: Ensure you have created a profile and are logged in. Ensure your credit card is valid. For further assistance contact the General Support at tickets@rdpolytech.ca

Q: Why can’t I log in?

A: Ensure your email and password are correct. Click the “Forgot Password” button for a password reset or contact the General Support phone or email.

Q: Can I change my seats?

A: Seat selection cannot be changed and tickets are not eligible for refunds or exchange.

Q: Can my child sit on my lap?

A: If your child is younger than the youngest ticket type being sold for the event, then it is permitted.

Q: I bought 4 tickets (2 adult, 2 senior), but now my parents are unable to attend. Can my children use the tickets?

A: It is permitted if the new person using the seat is of the same or lesser value than the original ticket.

Q: What time should I show up for general admission/rush seating?

A: Generally the doors open ½ hour before the start of the event. Athletics events open 1 hour prior to the start time.

Q: Do I have to print my tickets?

A: You can present a printed ticket or use your mobile device to show your ticket.

Q: How do I find my tickets?

A: You will be sent an email confirming your purchase and you can always log in to your profile in UTIX to manage your purchases.

Q: What are all the fees for?

A: The base ticket price is set by the Event Managers. GST and Service Fees apply to all tickets at RDP venues. The Service Fee covers the costs of operating a ticketing system. Events hosted in any RDP Arts facility will also have a Facility Enhancement Fee to contribute to the fund needed for upgrades.


Purchase/Payment Policy


All Sales are in Canadian Dollars.
Tickets are not eligible for refunds or exchange.

Postponed or Rescheduled Events
When events are postponed or rescheduled, you'll need to connect with us.
You will be contacted via phone or email with the new event information as soon as we are updated.
Unless notified otherwise, your tickets will be valid for the new event date.

Canceled Events

If you purchased your tickets online we have you covered! No additional action is needed and you won't need to reach out to us.
You will be notified that the event is canceled.
Your refund will be automatically delivered to the same card used for purchase.
Refunds should be received within 7-10 business days after we learn the event has been canceled.
